COVID-19 Lab Policy and Bookings
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SAFETY RULES COULD RESULT IN DENIAL OF LAB ACCESS:
A cloth or medical mask is always to be worn when more than 3 people are in the lab. The mask must always fully cover your nose and mouth. Masks containing breathing vents are not permitted. If lab is occupied by 3 or less individuals, a mask is not required.
People who show a vaccinated badge are not required to wear a mask and do not count towards the 3 person mask requirement rule.
Clean and sanitize your workplace before leaving.
Maximum of 7 students in the lab at any given time.
Minimum of 1 Lab Safety Monitor OR Faculty Member must be present when the lab is occupied.
You must provide your own safety glasses and hand sanitizer.
Soldering station is for electrical work only.
You must provide your own safety glasses and hand sanitizer.
You must swipe your eagle card when entering and exiting the lab.
Follow the instructions of Posted Signage, Lab Safety Monitors, Faculty, and University Personnel at all times.
Report violations to safety monitors.
To work as a team or group in the lab, you must book a timeslot beforehand.
Violators are subject to removal from the lab and/or revocation of access.
